A nearly identical bass—finished only in a different color—is now part of the permanent
collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. It fills me with great pride to know that this
renowned institution has included one of my instruments in ist collection. Technically, “The
Black Concept” is almost identical, yet it appears entirely in black. This color concept gives the
bass a futuristic, almost artificial presence. At the same time, the finely marbled grain of the ebony fingerboard reveals that natural materials have been used and shaped with the highest level of craftsmanship. An instrument reduced to the max. One pure sound.
